myAccessHub was Co-Founded by Gearoid Kearney and Miriam O’Sullivan. Gearoid has a degree in Computer Science from IT Tralee and Miriam completed her Masters in the area of Autism from IT Tralee. myAccessHub helps businesses to become more Accessible to customers and employees with Autism. myAccessHub has created a set of standards that if implemented within a business, a business can become more Accessible to people with Autism. myAccessHub uses online and onsite training to help employees learn about Autism; thus, increasing Accessibility and Equality within the environment. This training gives the company the ability to offer a more Accessible service to both the customer and the employees. Currently 1 in 68 people have Autism Worldwide. This figure is rising by 10% – 17% per year. In the future, businesses are going to have more customers and employees that are on the Spectrum so it’s important that they can offer an accessible service to everyone.
